What you need to know before getting started.
Does this replace a language school?
It depends. If you haven't spoken English with anyone in years, a language school will give you what Lunvello can't: a real person in front of you. Lunvello gives you the rest of the exam — Reading, Use of English, Writing, Speaking, Listening, the real format. A lot of people combine both.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
You can. I've tried it. You ask it for an essay and it corrects you with pats on the back: "nice work, you could improve cohesion". OK, but is that a Band 3 or a Band 5? Lunvello tells you Band 3 with the four official criteria (CA · CO · O · L), runs the 1 h 20 min timer for Reading & Use of English, generates Listening with four different voices and one accent per Part, and in Speaking puts you inside the 4 Parts of the oral with simulated interlocutor and partner — not a text chat. Cambridge marks it this way. Lunvello does too.
Can I try it before paying?
